The Economic and Social Cost of Imported Food Stuffs in Iraq / A Field Study on Children in Mosul
Abstract
This research deals with the economic and social cost of imported food in Iraq. The aim of the research is to determine the cost, the relevance and the direct impact on children in Mosul, since most of imported food enter the country without knowing their advantages and disadvantages because children are the most vulnerable group in the society.The research sample consisted of 50 parents. The researcher adopted a randomized social survey and questionnaire as a method to collect the data.The research found that there is a statistically significant relationship between the goods and food in markets and the diseases that infect children.
