Assessment of the level of knowledge of physical education teachers with the requirements of total quality for managing physical education activities from the point of view of school principals
Abstract
The present study aims of the research is to investigate the level of knowledge of physical education teachers with the requirements of total quality for managing physical education activities from the point of view of school principals in Nineveh Governorate. The study used the questionnaire as a means of collecting data, which involved of five axes: (leadership, strategic planning, continuous training and development, information technology and attention to the student), The study population contained of principals of middle, preparatory and secondary schools for boys in the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh Governorate. The selected data consists of number of the research community was (122) managers, and the number of the research sample was (78) managers, representing (63.93%) of the research community. The current study concluded that the level of knowledge of physical education teachers about the overall quality of managing sports activities was at a high level, and the researcher recommended working on holding courses for physical education teachers that aim to link physical education with modern administrative concepts, especially quality management and the foundations of its application and use to develop school physical education curricula and programs Strengthening the leadership role of physical education teachers, the participation in development courses to benefit from information technology, and Internet services to serve school sports activity.
