Abstract

The study aims to adapt the talent management scale for employees in football academies in Nineveh Governorate and to identify the level of talent management in football academies in Nineveh Governorate from the perspective of its employees. The researcher used the descriptive survey method for its suitability and the nature of the research. The study community included members of the administrative and technical bodies in the accredited football academies in Nineveh Governorate, totaling 211 members distributed across 31 academies. The study sample was selected using the comprehensive deliberate enumeration method, and the study sample consisted of 179 administrative and technical members representing 31 football academies. The researcher relied on the talent management tool prepared by (Al-Azzawi, 2020) and modified by the researchers. The researcher then applied the tool to 40 administrative and technical members. The data was processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) through percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Spearman-Brown formula, Guttman formula, Cronbachs alpha coefficient, t-test for two independent samples, significance level (sig), and correlation coefficient. The researchers concluded that the members of the administrative and technical bodies in football academies in Nineveh Governorate have a very high level of talent management. Talent management has an influential role in football academies in Nineveh Governorate. The researchers recommended consideration in selecting talent management individuals with high knowledge, experience, and competence. It is recommended to choose academics in the management of football academies for their scientific and practical experience. They were conducting other studies on talent management in football academies.
