Abstract

Ibn Alromy is distinguished for his elegiac poetry specially his meemia in which he cried over the city of Al-Basrah when this city was beaten violently and hardly by zinj who ruined it and humiliated its peoples and destroyed the achievements of its civilization in the year 257 Hijri during Al-Mutamed succession, the Maimia is repeated between angry and sadness to view this bloody tragedy which humiliated the peoples during that time and this required a special style to reach the poetic target from where the meaning quality , the abundance of the phrase and the beauty of performance.This research is based on an entry and three sections. The entry contained the determination of the concept of stylistic and the first section is allocated for the study of (the semantic level) from where the connotation of words, contextual connotation, conjunctive connotation, the suggestive sign and the indication of the image (image metaphor, conjunctive image and the meta- image) while the second section contained (the compositional level) from where the composition of verbs (time zone and the levels of verbs) and the structure of statements (verbal and nominal statements) and the third section is allocated for the study of (rhythmic vocal level) from where the external rhythm (weight and rhyme) and the internal rhythm (repetition and Acoustic assembly). The research rely on a stylistic study to elucidate the artistic and objectivity features for the maimia of Ibn Alromy in bemoaning of Basrah.
