The research talks about a phenomenon which is widely spread in Ibn AL-Taaweethy"s poetry namely ( comlaint ).we consider this kind of poetry as an emotional poetry.It shows us the poet's sufferiny from his life .we cancentrate on the most important pivots of his complaint specially the complaint of time,illness,poverty, friends inner and external alienation and authority.His complaint is centered on his inner feeling which is caused by the circumstances of life which is aqainst his wills.By complaint he's seeking after hope. The most important thing distingnishing the passion in Ibn AL-Taaweethy"s complaint poetr"s its honesty because it comes from a soul full of sadness,admonition and yearning ,hopping that he may find who help him
