No doubt, language with its different levels is regarded as the most important factor in conveying meanings. Sound is the smallest unit in language which contributes in changing meanings. It is explained that how the sound is accordant with the meanings created by the sounds whether it is conducted with other sounds or by itself. This is clear from the qualities of sounds of which the Qur'anic verses are made, which appear in the context of describing water in in the Glorious Quran. The research is composed of two sections preceded by an introduction about the qualities used as tools for analysis in this research. The first section discusses the signification of qualities of sounds in the context of the events happened. The second section is concerned with a number of findings. Important among them are the symmetry and harmony between the qualities of sounds and the context in which they occur. For example, the context of frightening often requires sounds characterized by stress , because they have a profound effect on the psyche.
