Abstract

The study dealt with the digital identifier to access information, whether it is a research or a chapter of a book or a full text, as the digital identifier is defined as a means of accessing information through a live link that connects the information researcher to information through internet access and this link is always effective, the study worked on Defining the concept of the digital identifier and determining its structure and the parts it consists of, then dealing with the authorities responsible for it, and the study worked to show its importance for the researcher and the magazine and the benefits it can provide to them, and given the connection of the digital identifier with free access to information, the study worked to address the issue of access It defined the concept and ways of accessing it, then addressed its importance and the obstacles that prevent access to information through the Internet.
