Structures of Metaphor in the Light of the Theory of Transformational Generative Grammar
Abstract
This research deals with metaphor and metaphor as a metaphorical superficial structure of a real deep structure, and studies how the sentence of the deep structure (real) is transferred to the sentence of the superficial structure (metaphor) and the stages of transition and sheds light on the methods of transforming the deep structure into a superficial structure, and reveals that the truth as it moves to metaphor It must pass through the simile sentence, for the simile is a middle stage between them, and it begins with the complete simile until it reaches the eloquent simile in preparation for the transition to metaphor. The truth is, at the same time, a deep structure of metaphor We divided it into two parts and a preamble.
