Standardization and evaluation and the implications of its reliance on services and staff in university libraries
Abstract
The University Library is defined as the beating heart of the university and plays a major role in serving the beneficiary community through its services, and achieving its objectives such as achieving the satisfaction of the beneficiary, which is the purpose of its existence, so it is necessary to identify qualified workers to meet the needs of the beneficiaries and this by applying the evaluation process for the performance of its employees, through which the working individual recognizes the strengths, weaknesses and shortcomings in his performance Through which the worker can develop and improve strengths and address the weaknesses and sense of responsibility of the worker and perform his tasks assigned to them with mastery, excellence and credibility in order to rise to his professional level and paint a good picture in the mind of the beneficiary of the library in which he works by providing quality services that meet all the wishes of the beneficiaries and within the limits of the international standards of the profession.
