Abstract

Knowledge management is one of the most important topics in our time, and is also considered a fundamental point for the efforts of multiple parties and different interests, in particular workers (information specialists) in academic libraries, as attention to the human element (information specialist) is one of the important and urgent basics in terms of the positive role in the workflow of various libraries, including the Academy, and in light of the recent and successive developments witnessed by the field of information it was necessary for the effective presence of the information specialist in keeping pace with modern technologies and technology that had Its impact on office work, it was (information specialist) It presents knowledge in a simple traditional form while today it has become a great contribution to the production of knowledge, creativity and innovation and thus its dissemination to the beneficiaries, and in the age of knowledge has become the focus on the human resource and its management, as there is a strong relationship between the information specialist and knowledge in mastering the use of modern technologies as he knows how important the information is to the beneficiary and how he will use it, in light of information technology and the abundance of information, and the inability of vessels to limit it, it was necessary to have this category of highly skilled qualified at a technical and scientific level Thoughtful so they can handle the sheer flood of information.
