Abstract

The study dealt with the subject of the global containers Scopas and Clarvet in terms of definition, concept and historical development of them, then worked on discussing each container separately, and discussed the instructions for the database of each of them, and identified the notes about the difference of each container from the other, and sought to clarify the instructions for publishing magazines that aim to join For these containers, the study determined the global standards for the Scopus and Clarvet database by explaining the specification for ISO 8.2019, which came with 34 pages and includes 13 main axes and shown in Table No. 1 in the study. It also included all the conditions that must be provided in the scientific periodicals for the purpose of their acceptance to join the two bases listed. The study arrived at defining the criteria for evaluating journals into four main categories. It also dealt with the global influence coefficient and how to calculate it for journals and to clarify the Arab influence coefficient and its importance to Arab intellectual production.
