Abstract

The study addresses the emergence of terrorism in Iraqi society particularly after 2003, and the factors and reasons that led to its appearance and spread significantly, which led to the control of some armed terrorism groups on the part of its vast part of Iraqi territories specifically the Sunni ones, since the squads who break the law are the most powerful terrorist and the armed ones. There is a range of important factors that had a great role in the emergence of terrorism and its spread in Iraq's society, and those factors are internal factors such as social , economic, security, health, political, and religious factors that play a significant role in the emergence of terrorism and its spread in the society. In addition, there are external factors such as intruding the neighboring countries in the Iraqi internal issues , and using their lands to carry out attacks by their territorial groups and the extremist organizations to the Iraqi territory , as well as the factor of raising chaos and encouraging terrorism that is done by the great countries to achieve their interests.
