Musical intelligence and its relationship to perceptual patterns among students of the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Mosul
Abstract
The current research aimed at musical intelligence and its relationship to cognitive patterns among students of the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Mosul, and to identify the differences in the level of musical intelligence and its relationship to cognitive patterns according to the gender variable (males - females), the department variable (music - theater) and the stage variable (second - third), as well as the This is to identify the relationship between musical intelligence and its relationship to cognitive patterns among students of the Institute of Fine Arts. The basic research sample consisted of (100) male and female students who were randomly selected from among the students of the Institutes of Fine Arts in the city of Mosul. For the two research tools, the value of the stability coefficient for the musical intelligence tool was (0.82), and the stability value using the re-test method for the perceptual patterns tool, the visual pattern (0.81), the auditory pattern (0.83), the sensory pattern (0.81).The researcher has used the appropriate statistical means for her research, such as the alpha-Cro-Nbach equation, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the t-test for one sample, the t-test for two independent samples, the t-test for the significance of the correlation coefficientAnd the results showedThe students of the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Mosul had a significant level of musical intelligence.- How did the results show the superiority of males over females, and the music department outperformed the theater department at the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Mosul in the level of musical intelligence.- There is a significant correlation between musical intelligence and perceptual patterns (formal, auditory, and sensory). The researcher also recommends the following:Educational television can be used to prepare educational and psychological programs to enhance musical intelligence and cognitive patterns among students. The researcher suggests:1- The need to conduct a similar study of the variables of the study at other stages of study.
