Conversational Implicature in Mosulian Proverbs - A Pragmatic Approach –
Abstract
This paper deals with the theory of dialogical implication in part of the popular linguistic heritage in Mosul, which is popular proverbs, and tries to reveal the semantic meanings required for explicit speech. The need to reach the sources of linguistic richness and the centers of creativity in the multiplicity and variation of meanings by diving into the linguistic and contextual additions that breathe life into rigid words. The research plan necessitated that it be divided into five sections, as the first section specialized in shedding light on the concept of proverbs and the characteristics of the conductive dialect, while the second section dealt with the concept of dialogue imperative and its principles according to (Grace).
