Abstract

Prophet Mohammad s (PBUH) Belonging and Muslim Care of them up to the End of the Abbasid Age.The Muslims preserved some of the relics of the Prophet (peace be upon him) after his death, such as cups, robes, and sandals, which were kept by some of the companions and which were inherited by their sons and followers over several centuries. Some light will be shed on these possessions, how to preserve them, and ways to care for and maintain them. Those people used to seek blessings from those possessions because they touched the Messengers body and, consequently everything the Messenger (peace and be upon him) wore gave them a perfume that would not leave them. The research is divided into two sections preceded by an introduction. The first section deals with the cups in which the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) drank water, whether those cups were his or were some of his companions, and how to maintain them, and the forms of pride in them and seeing them for students of knowledge and drinking from them. The second section deals with the Prophets robes ( (peace be upon him) and his clothes, and how the companions and followers preserved them, and who bought them, and how they reached the Umayyad and then Abbasid caliphs, until they became one of the badges of the caliphate, which they wore on the two Eids and when assuming power and caliphate.
