Simile formation in the collections of Ahmed Jarallah Yassin
Abstract
The research sought to shed light on the aesthetic level of the art of simile, which is considered one of the most important arts of Arabic rhetoric, through extrapolation of some selected models. This art constitutes, in proportion, the highest of the arts mentioned in the poets collections, despite its various types, the general simile, the direct simile, the eloquent simile, and others, as it represents a high literary and rhetorical image in Expressing the poets desires and desires, in order to achieve the most beautiful poetic image in which he draws words and their meanings to express the purpose at hand. This art had an effective role in conveying the idea, with its woven poetic images and elaborate visual formation, as well as punctuation marks, including commas. The point between words and the formation of blackness and whiteness, in order to finally arrive at a dismantling of the title system in contemporary poetry. The research included an introduction to the concept of simile and its importance, then illumination of the life and achievements of the poet Ahmed Jar Allah Yassin, and finally an analysis of selections from his poems that included reference to the aesthetics of the art of simile and visual formation.
