Abstract

The analogy is one of the most prominent methods of statement science in Arabic rhetoric and its cornerstone, as it plays a prominent role in enriching the perception and imagination of both poetic and prose language, as well as considering it an aesthetic element popular in the language of Zad - in particular- in the Arabic Maqamah for the diversity of its methods between poetry and dictionary prose, so the research sought to study this art in (Maqamat al-Zahir Abi al-Hassan), as it contained a variety of methods of analogy, as well as the rest of the arts of the statement. The research was based on giving an explanation of the concept of the analogy in the language and in the rhetorical terminology of the early linguists until the stability of the latter, then identifying the basic elements of the analogy: (the two parties: the suspect and the suspect), then the similarity, purpose, conditions and tool, passing through the counting of its ranks and clarifyingit in terms of the absence of one of its parties or its presence in the analogous sentence. The research took samples of the types of analogy mentioned (in the Maqamat al-Zahir Abi al-Hassan) - in a numerical table attached to the research, but we did not accompany it for fear of prolongation - it was dealt with in the descriptive rhetorical analysis revealing the characteristics of the species used - in the study model - and their aesthetics, starting with the most rhetorical and then the least
