The textual approach in the Arabic language book for the second year of secondary education in Algeria, Arts and Philosophy Division - the second basic unit as an example
Abstract
Teaching the branches of the Arabic language separately from each other was a major problem in the educational-learning process. Until the Algerian school adopted the textual approach according to the competencies approach within the framework of educational curricula reform, which considered the text the focus of supportive activities in terms of grammar, morphology and rhetoric without neglecting the communicative aspect. Thus, the teaching of the Arabic language has become based on the idea of the interdependence of the different linguistic branches, based on the rules of cohesion and textual gradation based on the tools of consistency and harmony. Learners acquire knowledge and competencies not to store it.
