Academic boredom and its relationship to the motivation of academic achievement among middle school students
Abstract
The current research aimed to find the relationship between academic boredom and the motivation of academic achievement among middle school students in (Karkh 1 / Karkh 2 District) in Baghdad Governorate, and the sample members reached (200) male and female students, and the scale (academic boredom) was built by the researcher because there is no appropriate measure for the sample members, while the achievement motivation scale has been adopted (Al-Bandar, 2016), and the sincerity and stability of the scale has been ensured, as well as the researcher statistical analysis of the two scales to know the distinction of paragraphs And the internal consistency of the paragraphs and their suitability for the sample members After applying the two scales and obtaining the results, the researcher reached a set of results according to the objectives set:1 The middle school students have a high level of academic boredom.2- There are statistically significant differences between males and females in favor of males.3- Lack of motivation for academic achievement among middle school students.4- There are statistically significant differences between males and females in favor of females.5- The existence of an inverse correlation between the research variables academic boredom and academic achievement motivation.
