AbstractThe research aims at :•Measuring the philosophical values for the lecturers of sports education college in Mosul university .•Identifying the differences among the lecturers of sports education college in Mosul university according to their departments .The descriptive approach has been adopted with a survey method for its convenience to the nature of the research .The research community has included the lecturers of sports education college /Mosul university and consisted of (102) lecturers divided into (4) departments representing sports sciences department ,individual games department , team games department ,and the directorate of sports and artistry education.The value scale has been used in the sports field ,which was designed by (Taif Talal Al-Sumaida'I ,2011) as a research instrument .The researcher has also used the statistical processors represented by (Arithmetical mean , the standard deviation , percentage ,the simple correlation factor of Person , L-Test, the deference analysis ,and the Least Significant Difference (L.S.D).The researcher has concluded the following :1.The philosophical value differ among the teaching staff of the college of sports education /Mosul university according to their experience years .2.The difference establishing on the religious ,social and economical values depend on the scientific departments that the lecturers belong to .3.The presence of clear difference in the degrees of the philosophical values according to the scale used according to the experience which is considered a clear indicator to the difference in philosophies of teaching ,training ,and the sports activity .
