Abstract

The study aims to:Reveal the differences between the three study groups (control and experimental) in the post-test for learning the technical performance of several motor skills in football. The researchers hypothesized:There are statistically significant differences between the post-test results of the three study groups in learning the technical performance of several motor skills in football for first-year students. The researchers used the experimental method with a design of equivalent groups. The study sample consisted of 30 first-year students from the University of Mosul, College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2021-2022. The researchers used the statistical package for data processing. The researchers concluded:The two experimental groups (first and second) that used the concept mapping strategy accompanied by sequential and random exercise scheduling outperformed the control group that used the traditional method in learning the most important motor skills in football.
