Abstract

The study aims at revealing the Effect of using constructional preliminary and compound exercises in learning Technical performance by difficult parts style in shot-put Activity, as well as , to reveal significance differences between the Effect of using constructional preliminary and compound exercises in learning Technical performance by difficult parts style in shot-put Activity . Experimental method was used for its suitability in the study .Sample of the study consisted of (30) students , divided into three experimental groups, (10) students for each group , from the college of Basic Education , University of Mosul . Equivalence was achieved among the three experimental groups. (24) Samples were constructed for the constructional , preliminary and compound exercises , which implemented in the preliminary part of the learning unit for (20) minutes . A Learning program consisted of (8) units for each group , which also constructed and implemental in the main part of the learning unit with (55) minutes to teach technical performance using difficult parts style in shot-put activity. Interviews , questionnaire , tests and measurements technical scientific observation were used as means for collecting data , pre and post test was implemented by making each student implement three tries shot-put with camera to be presented by a video tape on the experts and referees to evaluate the technical performance in shot-put. Arithmetic mean , standard deviation , multi-correlation coefficient , t.test , Anova one way , and L.S.D. test , were used as statistical means . The researchers concluded the following: 1. Constructional , Preliminary and Compound exercises used in the three experimental groups have a positive effect on technical performance learning by difficult parts style in shot-put activity . 2. Compound exercises were more effective in technical performance learning in the study sample when comparing their marks in pre test with the two groups using constructional and preliminary exercises with significant differences for the benefit of compound exercises. 3. Preliminary exercises were more effective than constructional exercises with significant differences in technical performance learning when comparing their marks in pre test.
