The Evaluation of Teaching Skills By Using Tookman Instrument of some Physical Education Instructors At University of Salahadin

Purpose of the study :
1- To identify the level of teaching skills for Physical Education Instructors At University of Salahadin according to Tookman instrument .
2-To identify the differences between evaluations of teaching skills according to Tookman instrument.
Material and Methods of study:
A sample of (17) staff members, department of theoretical studies were taken for the study.(6)of the staff members were chosen to analyze their teaching skills according to senior curriculum in the College of Physical Education at University of Salahadin as follows: Psychology, Sociology, education, training science, statistic, and organization and administration .The study was analyzed and computed statistically by using certain statistical methods .The researchers used Tookman as an instrument in this study.
Results and Recommendations:
On the basis of the analysis of the data, the following conclusions were presented:
1- The level of teaching skills of physical education instructors were high which represent (91%).
2- The teaching skills of physical education instructors were high according to Tookman's four fields.
The researchers recommended the following:
1- The Tookman instrument should be taken into consideration in evaluating teaching skills for both departments, individual games and team games.
2- The Tookman instrument should be taken into consideration for all departments in the school in evaluating senior students during practical application in school.
