Abstract

The name Andalusian poetry is used call that poetry emerging from the Arab Islamic civilization in Andalusia, and is unique to certain poetic arts. Perhaps what had a clear impact on this color of hair is the picturesque nature that was enjoyed, and this poetry was the focus of attention of orientalists who tried to treat this poetry from the point of view of tradition and renewal, this research should study the view of the Spanish orientalist (Emilio Gracie Gomes) of Andalusian poetry through his book (Arab Andalusian Poems) published in 1930 in Madrid, and his translation into Arabic (Dr. Hussein Moones) and issued it entitled (Andalusian Poetry discussed its development and characteristics) In 1952 AD, Gomes is one of the greatest Spanish Orientalists who graduated at the hands of Orientalists (Ribera and Plathius), and what motivated us to study this book is to demonstrate Gomess view of Arab poetry in Andalusia, and the nature of the group material required dividing the research into two axes: the first axis addressed its view of Arab poetry In general and Andalusian in particular, either the second axis has touched on the topics of Andalusian poetry, which is (love and beauty, wine, description and analogy), and the research relied on the analytical method; To analyze his orientalist view in his book.
