Qura'anic character dialogues : prophets with their families as an example
Abstract
The current research deals with the prophets dialogue in the Holy Quran. It highlights the dialogue with their families, showing the value of these Quranic dialogues in calling to Allah Almighty, as well as revealing the psychological worlds of the Quranic personalities represented by the prophets, who are the elite of creation, through their dialogue with their families who are the closest people and the first to guide and unite Allah Almighty.The research includes a preface and three sections. The preface deals with the concept of dialogue in linguistics and in literary and Quranic terminologies, as well as the concept of family in linguistics and in the Quranic terminology. As for the first section, it tackles the dialogue between the prophets and their sons and parents. The second section highlights the prophets dialogue with their brothers. Finally, the third section presents the purposes behind the prophets dialogue with their families, which is the ultimate goal of the occurrence of those dialogues in the Quranic text.
