Abstract

The existence of various urban facilities is evidence of the development and progress of societies of all ages, and the research we are discussing is important because it revolves around the existence of these urban facilities in a wide geographical area called the country of the Kurds, which did not receive much academic studies in particular during the different historical periods, whether from From the historical point of view, or from the specific geographical point of view, especially since the research sheds light on these facilities in the first half of the Abbasid era, in which most aspects of life developed with the development of science and practical applications The research also included an indication of the types of facilities that existed in the country of the Kurds, such as mosques, mosques, schools and churches, as well as cities, castles, walls, bridges and archways, and various diwans, within four types of facilities, starting from religious and educational facilities, then military and security facilities, as well as service facilities. And ends with the administrative and financial facilities, which represent the most important urban facilities, and mentioning a number of personalities who cared for these facilities, and the research ends with final results .
