Schopenhauer's Position of Fine Arts
Abstract
The subject of our research is (Schopenhauer's Position of Fine Arts ) as it is one of the important topics that occupied his thinking, as he is one of the philosophers who devoted their lives to literary writing and the taste of the arts, and although he was influenced with different European literature, the impact of Plato and Kant on his philosophy of art and beauty was clear, and this is why he is considered one of the philosophers who took beauty away from utility and morals, so he took the aesthetic value and placed it at the highest level that a person can live up to. So he began to elevate the aesthetic value and place it at the highest level that a person can live up to, on the one hand, and on the other hand we find that his aesthetic philosophy is derived from his general philosophical doctrine, and the artist like him in this regard as philosopher, as he shares his genius and its general content is the ability to metaphysical contemplation Because the philosopher is represented by assets or metaphysical existence through mental images, here we find that the artist represents this metaphysical existence through his artworks, and the purpose of it, according to Schopenhauer's opinion is to reach a kind of complete annihilation or universal bliss through which the artist's will is achieved, but the classification Schopenhauer for the arts was in the form of a hierarchy, and this is why our research includes several paragraphs, namely: (the art of architecture, the art of water coordination and the art of horticulture, the art of painting and sculpture, poetry and tragedy, music), as well as the conclusion with the most important conclusions.
