This research deals with the study of the topic (awareness of the history of ancient Greece in pre-Islamic poetry - Dhu al-Qarnayn as a model -) so that the references referred to by the pre-Islamic poets to the personality of Dhul-Qarnayn in their poetry are extracted by extrapolating most of the collections of pre-Islamic poetry, and showing how the pre-Islamic poets were empowered with their artistic genius From employing what they know and inherited, whether that knowledge is religious or historical, as well as the stories and myths that intertwine in it that enter the world of fiction. The importance of this research lies in that it reveals aspects of pre-Islamic human thought and shows the extent of the pre-Islamic poets' awareness and knowledge of the history of those surrounding them from among the first ancient nations, and explores the references and legacies that they used to express their ideas and poetic purposes by including those references and legacies in artistic and aesthetic formulas.
