Abstract
The Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem witnessed the dominant role of the women all through its history (492 A.H./1099A.C.-583 A.H./1187 A.C.). The feudal European system enable the women to play political roles either as Queen, Mother Queen, and through regency. In this research we concentrate on those women who played vital role in the history of the Crusading history in the East, especially in Kingdom of Jerusalem like the Queen Melisende, which shared the rule first with her husband Fulk of Anjo, and then as a regent for her son Baldwin III. The Queen Agnes the wife of Baldwin III, in it turn, much influenced the political situation in the kingdom through its hegemony, controlling and manoeuvring acts during her son Baldwin IV regime. Lately, there are the role of Sybil, Agnes daughter who forced her husband guy Losignan to be proclaimed as king against all the challengers, which led to the total annihilation of the kingdom at the hand of Saladin in 583 A.H./1187 A.C.
