Personal Traits of Mosul University Students
Abstract
" The aim of the research is to identify the level of personality traits among the students of the University of Mosul. As well as identifying the statistically significant differences in the motivation of mastery according to the variables (gender - academic specialization - and the study stage). The study community consisted of Mosul University students for the academic year (2020-2021) for the morning study, which numbered (20145) male and female students, were withdrawn. A stratified random sample of 2.9% consisting of (600) male and female students from the second and fourth stage students. At the rate of (100) male and female students from each college, (50) for the second stage, and (50) for the fourth stage, equally for both sexes, for the scientific and humanitarian majors. For the purpose of achieving the researchers goals, the Al-Hilali Scale (2012) was adopted, which consisted of 40 items distributed over the six traits (leadership, self-esteem, satisfaction, self-control, social, tolerance). Using the SPSS statistical package program, the following statistical methods were used: (one-sample t-test, Cronbach's alpha equation, two independent samples' t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient)."
