Abstract

Fear is one of the most important manifestations, that afflicts the human self. Any self is not without this feeling, so fear had its abundant poetic space, and the Andalusian poet took care of this emotional obsession. Religious fear was at the top of the poets fears, as the religious aspect had a great influence in igniting fear in the hearts and poems of Andalusians. How not!, The Islamic doctrine calls for fear of God and fear of the Day of Resurrection, and God obliged people to fear Him, and forbade them to fear others. The poets complied to this call, and stood by it. They pictured its appearances and goals, but there is no exaggeration when we say: They embodied him alive, even to the extent that it moves in the selfs of the listener. The research focused on: 1- Tracing the evidence of the religious fear of the poets of the fifth century, and revealing the ability of poetry to draw the details of the human soul in its fear and reverence. 2- Finding the extent of the poets ability to use language methods and poetic images in expressing fear and conveying it to the recipient.
