This study aims at shedding light on irony as a modern literary and critical term especially if it is connected with kabbani whose style is obviously ironic. His political literary works are almost, controvecid. As there are different kinds of irony ,This study concentrates on the irony of title for it is quite obvious in kabbanis works. The title is the first step through which the reader reaches the semantic the indexical areas and the aesthetic dimensions of the text through concentrating on certain idea the policy of the Arab readers after Junes War-His titles how ever are not formed to arouse hum our and paradoxes only but they came to express a creative view and abstract distinctive meaning .
