This research tackles the minor girls' marriage as one of the prominent phenomena in the Mosulian Society. It deals with the factors and reasons behind this case, whether they are economic, social or cultural ones. Such factors have led the families to marry girls with small ages. Throughout this study, it has been reviewed the civil status laws related to marriage in several Arab countries including Syrian, Egypt, Lebanon, and the Maghreb countries, in addition to the civil status law of Iraq.
