Abstract

In his nomination of some personalities, the author drew on the popular heritage reality in the nomenclature of the Mosulian society. How not and the historical novel is transmitted aside from events that took place in the city of Mosul, as it is from historical realistic accounts, so it had to be drawn and inspired by the actual reality of the city (Yunus, David, Zarzis, Hanna) In his choice of the names of his characters, he sought to have the extent to which the name denotes the name in two directions or two denominations, so either the name is the title of the title in fact in his behavior, opinions, and character within the novel such as (Salma, Hashem, Hazem, Ibtisam), or that the launch of the name is a matter of exposing it If he wore a different, even contradictory, name that she carried, such as (Abdullah, Younis, Saeed).
