Abstract

This paper is addreseed to deal with the duality of life and death in ibn Khafja's Poem wasfal- jabal "Description of the Mount" Ibn Khafaja is believed to assume' in his poems, various attitudes toward both problems of death, or cessation of begin, and life, or existence, to the extent that he apperas distinguished amongst other Andalusian poets, The phenomenon of duality does not remain ordinary and natural, in the eyes of Ibn Khafaja, as it does in respect to other poets. Duality can be seen reflected in his poetry as pessimistic philosophy. This paper deals, as well, the stylistic technical aspect manifested by this poetry.
