Abstract

Our Iraqi country faces great challenges in the field of social security, as a result of the escalation of violence in its internal front and the spread of a wave of organized crime and indiscriminate killing in all parts of society, which hundreds of citizens go daily in addition to targeting the activities of citizens and their social and economic roles in society. The kidnapping of citizens by organized criminal gangs is one of the most prominent criminal patterns that have spread unprecedentedly in Iraqi society, as it has grown and spread as one of the secretions of the security chaos left by the American-British occupation of our Iraqi country since (2003). It is noted that these crimes affected both men and women alike, for various reasons and reasons, and the seriousness of these crimes was not limited to one Iraqi city, but we can say that it affected all Iraqi cities, and the share of the well-to-do families was the lion's share of them.
