A new overview of the origin of the Mosul bridges in light of remote sensing data
Abstract
The bridges of the city of Mosul have evolved over time according to the evolution of the need for them between one bridge and two bridges, or their absence in some cases, especially when the state was threatened by an enemy coming from the left side of this city, destroying the crossings and bridges or in the event of a weak state or a low budget, when it suffers from flood disasters And its bridges are destroyed, so they cannot rebuild these bridges again as they were before the floods. These bridges evolved into their current state, and today there are five bridges crossing the Tigris River.
