The effect of using the text-analysis method on the achievement of second-grade intermediate students in the subjects of the Noble Qur’an and Islamic education

Abstract

The current research aims at knowing the effect of using the style of text analysis on the achievement of second inter mediate class pupils in holy Quran and Islamic education syllabus . The researchers chose empirical design due to its coincidence with the nature of the research . The sample was (54) female student of second intermediate class in the left bank of Mosul/ Nineveh governorate for the year 2018-2019. The researchers used experimental design of two equivalent groups (experimental/ control) with pre-posttests. The experimental group used the suggested method (text analysis) while control group used the traditional method. The sample was (54) female pupils divided respectively: (29) in the experimental group from AL Batra intermediate school/second class division) B( and (25) in the control group from Tadmor intermediate school for girls/ division) C(. The equivalence between the two groups was done in (grade of Islamic education material in first class/ average in first intermediate class, time age measured in months, parents academic achievement( . The researchers made (26) teaching plans for both groups divided into (13) for both groups. The researchers mead achievement test in holy Quran and Islamic education of (56) items in Completion / right and wrong / and multiple choices The surface reliability of the test was verified by undergoing a panel of referees. Stability, however was found using partial division, reaching (0.90) a high stability factor.
