AbstractThis study deals with the verbs indicating the stability of subject, i.e. its cessation of movement in the light of the Quranic text, by citing the Quranic verses. The attributes of the subject are often within the sentence, and stillness verbs are the verbs whose connotations revolve around stillness and immobility within the context of the Quranic text. And the significance of stillness in them is not the same in all of them, as it differs from one verb to another according to the context, and the nature of the material collected for this study necessitated dividing the research into three axes: The third axis deals with verbs indicating immobility in the Holy Quran, relying on the analytical descriptive method in analyzing the meanings of verbs in Arabic dictionaries and among the interpreters
