This research aims to diagnose some linguistic and cultural errors and other general mistakes in the linguistic performance of students of the translation branch in the European Languages Department at Mosul University through the general observations that the researchers made about the mistakes of these students, therefore the research seeks to know the reasons leading to such fall Linguistic errors and finding their roots, and therefore suggesting sound alternatives to address them.
