Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the extent to which male and female teachers of the Arabic language have the methods of resolving student disputes by peaceful means. To achieve the purposes of the research, the researcher followed the descriptive approach, and used two tools in collecting research data. A questionnaire consists of the values of tolerance included (81) paragraphs, and ensuring the validity and reliability of the two tools. The research sample consisted of (811) male and female teachers, and (821) male and female students. Peacefulness from their point of view is all high, and the results of the research showed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents responses in the degree of Arabic language teachers ownership of conflict resolution methods due to the gender variable, and in favor of males, while there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents responses In the degree of possession of Arabic language teachers of methods of resolving conflicts by peaceful means due to the variables of experience and qualification, the results of the research also showed a positive correlation between the degree of possession of teachers and Female teachers of methods of resolving conflicts by peaceful means, and in the light of the results of the research, the researcher put forward some recommendations.
