Abstract

The study included the search for educational institutions in Iraq 1974-1979, their types - their stages and included formal education and general education and included kindergartens and primary education, schools for young people, manual workshops, special education and then water education after the application of free education, secondary academic education and then the illiteracy eradication law And its impact on education, including legislation and planning to eradicate illiteracy, holding Arab and local educational conferences, forming the Supreme Council for Compulsory Literacy and Adult Education, the Law of the Comprehensive National Campaign for Compulsory Literacy, and the role of grassroots organizations in the national campaign to eradicate illiteracy and its impact on education.
