Geo-economic weight of the People's Republic of China

The People republic of China is considered one of the great countries and a main center that polarizes the people all over the world. It has an important strategic and geo-strategic importance on both the regional and the international levels due to the geographical resources such as the area, population number, location, the natural, economic, mineral, agricultural, water resources as well as the variety of climate. All this provides China a great opportunity for the diversified economic activity that makes China enjoy a prominent role in the globe. It is argued that as China has all these potentials, it might climb to the top of the international system and thus it will threaten the international peace. From the other hand, other think that this will not take place and because of this argument, this research came to existence to clarify the major characteristics of the economic structure in addition to the geo-economic weight and the role played by China in redrawing the features of the international system.
