The scientific ability of fifth –grade students to solve physical problems and their relationship to their motivation to implement them
Abstract
The a current research aims to know at the ability of fifth grade science student to solve physical problems and their relation ship to their motivation to apply them . The research sample consisted of (100) students of the fifth scientific grade The applied branch who were deliberately selected from the Islamic message preparatory school for boys in the city of Mosul for the academic year (2020 -2021). To achieve the goal of the research and answer its questions. The researcher prepared two tools the first of which is a test with physical issues and consists of two essay questions The determinant of the answer and the second is the measure of motivation and its final version consists of (32) paragraphs and the researcher verified the validity of the validity of the tools Then applied them to the members of the basic sample on (2 / 11 / 2020) And the research ended on (1 /5 /2021) . The results were collected and analyzed statistically using Pearson's reliability coefficient And the result showed that there is a positive correlation and a statistical function between two variables namely the ability to solve physical problems and motivation towards their application.
