Abstract

1.Threr is Emotional Cognitive among university students2.The variables of gender (male-female), academic year (first-fourth), and field of study (scientific-humanities) significantly influence the Emotional Cognitive among university students. The primary research sample consisted of 1281male and female students selected through proportional random sampling from the colleges of the University of Mosul for the academic year( 2024-2025 ). We distributed the sample equally across 10 colleges, with 5 representing scientific fields and 5 representing the humanities. We developed a Emotional Cognitive scale to achieve the research objectives, and we verified its validity using face validity, construct validity, and intrinsic validity. We calculated reliability using two methods: test-retest and Cronbach's alpha. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) statistically analyzed the data after applying the tool, yielding the following results:University students enjoy Emotional Cognitive.There is no statistically significant difference in Emotional Cognitive based on gender and academic.There is statistically significant difference in Emotional Cognitive based on the field of study (in favor of humanities).
