Requirements for the application of e-governance in the academic departments of the Faculty of Education and Arts at the University of Tabuk.
Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the degree of availability of requirements (administrative, human, and technical) for the application of e-governance in the academic departments of the College of Education and Arts at the University of Tabuk from the point of view of faculty members, and the study population consisted of (224) faculty members in the College of Education and Arts at the main headquarters at the University of Tabuk in its two parts, while the study sample consisted of (142) faculty members, and the descriptive survey approach was used for the study.The results of the study found that the degree of availability of the requirements for the application of e-governance in the academic departments of the College of Education and Arts in the three dimensions (administrative requirements, human requirements, and technical requirements) in general was (medium). And that the degree of availability of human requirements came in first place with an arithmetic average (2.87), and that the degree of availability of administrative requirements came in second place with an arithmetic average (2.82), and that the degree of availability of technical requirements came in third place with an arithmetic average (2.78),There were no statistically significant differences from the level of significance (0.01) between the average response of the study sample on the degree of availability of e-governance requirements in the academic departments of the Faculty of Education and Arts at the University of Tabuk, due to the variable (scientific rank, gender). Based on the findings of the study, the study recommends that the College of Education and Arts intensify the work of applying e-governance in its departments, focus on human requirements and availability, and provide the necessary support to achieve its requirements.
