Abstract

. . :1. .2. .3. . (40) ( 2003 ) , , . . The present research aims at knowing the effect of the students in the college of Basic Education. This aim is really achieved through measuring the emotional intelligence in the sample. It is also achieved through applying this instructional program to develop the intelligence of the students.The assumptions of the research are made in the followings:1. There are no indicated statistical distinctions between the average of the marks in both the experimental group and the controlled one in the dimensional test of the emotional intelligence measurement.2. There are no indicated distinctions between the male and female marks in the experimental group in the same test.3. There is no distinction in the average of the students' marks in the scientific and humanity departments in the experimental group of the dimensional test of the emotional intelligence measurement.The sample is formed of experimental and controlled groups. It is about forty male and female students. The test is applied by me using the emotional intelligence measurement which is set by (Riziq, 2003) for the students after adapting it to suit the Iraqi environment. The sample is chosen on purpose. It is presented for the students of the third stage in the college of basic Education.Then, the educational program is applied The researcher builds it to develop the emotional intelligence. After that, the dimensional test is also applied and by using the T test to do the statistical analysis, the researcher concluded with first, the refusal of the first null assumption. It is shown that there are indicated statistical distinctions in favor of the experimental group. Secondly, the acceptance of the second null assumption where there are no indicated distinctions according to the variable of the gender. Besides, the refusal of the third null assumption where there are no indicated statistical distinctions in favor of the students of the scientific department, accordingly, the researcher presents a group of conclusions, attainments and suggestions
