Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effect of the pentagram strategy on the achievement of second-year intermediate students in social studies and to develop their mental alertness. For the purpose of achieving the research objectives, the following hypotheses were formulated:1-There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students who studied according to the Pantagram strategy and the average scores of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the post-achievement test.2-"There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who are taught according to the Pantagram strategy and the average" scores of the students of the control group who are studying in the usual way in the post-test of mental alertness.3-There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who are taught according to the Pantagram strategy and the average scores of the students of the control group who are taught in the usual way in developing mental alertness.
