Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal the level of use of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and websites by female's students of the Educational Qualification Diploma, and the proses of using those applications from the students perspectives. It also sought to know the challenges they face when using AI applications, and their attitudes towards it. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and the sample consisted of (111) female science students studying the Educational Qualification Diploma at the University of Nizwa for the academic year 2023/2024. To answer the study questions, the two researchers built a tool consisting of four domains. The psychometric properties of the tool were tested by presenting it to a group of arbitrators, and by calculating the Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient, which reached (0.95). The results of the study showed that female students of the Educational Qualification Diploma specializing in science use artificial intelligence applications and websites to a high degree. The results of the study also showed that they face challenges in employing artificial intelligence applications and websites to a moderate degree, while they see that artificial intelligence applications and websites have proses aspects to a high degree. Female students attitudes towards using these applications and websites were high. The study recommended the necessity of creating courses taught at the university, especially using artificial intelligence applications and websites.
