Civil Liability arising from Damage to Electronic Media Works
Abstract
The research sheds light on the protection of intellectual property rights of electronic media works in the event that these material is utilized without the permission of the electronic media institutions, and the question arises here is about damages to these institutions. The research problem is manifested in the following question; to what extent the contemporary legal system specifically the tort law rules of the Iraqi civil transaction Act can protect rights of electronic media works. The aim is to identify areas of deficiencies and finding solutions that are compatible with the electronic transformation.
